Tencent Cloud and Boston Consulting Group join forces in strategic alliance
Chinese infrastructure services firm Tencent Cloud has formed a strategic alliance with management consulting firm Boston Consulting Group to cooperate in various fields including finance and retail to help businesses in their transformation digital.
Tencent said that in the future, cooperation will be extended to Asia-Pacific and around the world to jointly explore the development of localized digital solutions and to leverage innovations, resources and benefits from both sides.
As of April this year, Tencent Cloud launched new data centers in Bangkok, Thailand, Jakarta, Indonesia, Singapore, and Tokyo, Japan, providing more localized services to local businesses.
As part of this alliance, Tencent Cloud and BCG announce that they will cooperate in various fields including finance and retail to facilitate digital transformation in enterprises and provide enterprise architecture design for business access to the cloud.

“Amid the pandemic, leaders in every industry are exploring ways to strengthen the digital transformation of businesses,†Tencent and Boston Consulting said in a joint statement released Tuesday.
“However, transformation requires professional consulting agencies to advise on many aspects such as corporate strategy, business model and organizational transformation, among others.
“It also requires strong technical service providers to offer solutions based on new technologies such as cloud computing, big data, AI and IoT, to enable the launch of digital projects.
“In addition, talent has been a key part of the digital transformation – together the two sides will deliver workforce empowerment solutions, moving work and employee training online through tools like AI from Tencent Cloud, Tencent Agile Product Development (TAPD) and WeCom, to improve employee collaboration, efficiency and creativity, â€the two companies concluded.
