Several vandalized cars in the Hamburg area: home cameras may have caught a suspect

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Several residents in the Hamburg to Lexington area woke up to their vandalized cars Saturday morning.

Residents of the Summerfield neighborhood took to a Facebook group page called, ‘Summerfield-Lexington’ and shared photos of their cars with shattered windows, shattered taillights and shattered mirrors.

FOX 56 News has spoken with residents who say they heard noises around 3:30 a.m. believed to be related to damage they discovered to their vehicles.

Vehicles along Patchen Wilkes Drive, Battery Street, Covington Drive and Meeting St. were among the targeted locations.

Residents said they filed police reports on Saturday, but in the meantime they are sharing their home surveillance camera footage which shows a consistently orange-red colored sedan repeatedly either parked in front of homes or passing in front of their house.
