PRINTING United Alliance, America’s most comprehensive printing and graphic arts association, today announces the winners of its prestigious international Premier PRINT Awards print competition. The coveted competition recognizes and honors excellence in printing in 71 different categories. “This year’s Premier PRINT Awards judges struggled to limit the awards to 64 winners among all the impressive submissions,†said Joe Marin, senior vice president, education and training, PRINTING United Alliance. “Each piece was innovative and of the highest quality. The Premier PRINT Awards are the most advanced awards program in the printing industry and encompass SGIA’s former Golden Image Award, Printing impressions ” Gold ink price, Packaging imprints‘Excellence Award and Printing Industries of America’s Benny Award. These awards programs have collectively laid the groundwork for a single, unified award that recognizes the best of the best in graphic communications.
Companies submitted work from all aspects of print production including screen, offset, digital, large format, flexography, gravure printing, and more. Students were also encouraged to submit entries into the category of the Tom Frecska Student Printing Competition, which is awarded to any student or group of high school, adult education, vocational or college students involved in the creation or production of printed communications.
