An artist from Illinois makes the dinosaur models and an artist from Florida has designed the animatronic dino that can be ridden by children ages 2 and up.
“It’s basically like an old-fashioned kid’s walk to the grocery store, but on steroids,†Pete said. “They are big dinosaurs. The artists are very skilled. They will be very realistic and very unique. You will be completely surrounded by dinosaurs.”
Kids will be able to make prehistoric soft toys, which he described as a “Build-A-Bear for dinosaurs.” They will be able to create their own plush T-rex, Triceratopses, Sauropods, Bronchosaurs, saber-toothed and woolly mammoths.
I Dig Dinos will also sell dinosaur toys, action figures, kits, candy and sand art in which the dinosaurs can be filled with sand of different colors. It will carry authentic fossils and replicas of fossils from different periods.
“We’ll have everything from the most elaborate to those who are just starting a collection, from mammoth tusks to fossilized dinosaur droppings,†Pete said. “We will have trilobites, ammonites, all kinds of dinosaur teeth, cave bear fossils and megalodon teeth. We will have complete fossils of three inch Spinosaurus teeth, the Spinosaurus with the sailfin from ‘Jurassic Park 3 ‘killing the T-Rex. “
