From March 14 to 20, Los Angeles Fashion Week powered by Art Hearts Fashion will be displayed in rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors of The new market. Tom Keefer, general manager of The New Mart, noted that the building “has doubled to be the premier wholesale apparel showroom destination on the West Coast bringing additional resources to our tenants. Today, more than ever, content creation is a vital tool for any apparel brand.”
Over the past two years, The New Mart has completed the construction of a state-of-the-art photography studio fully equipped with makeup counters, lighting systems, backdrops and dressing rooms. There is also a podcast studio. Upgrades to a 20,000 square foot event space on the third floor are now complete and include a fashion runway and a 32ft by 8ft standard view LED video wall and Bose surround sound system. Keefer added, “We are thrilled to launch this extraordinary fashion theater with Art Hearts Fashion.”

Fashion Techworks, located in The New Mart, is Downtown LA’s only turnkey production and design hub for fashion, entertainment and tech designers, offering in-house resources providing entrepreneurs with the tools they need. need to go from the concept of clothing to commercialization. “We are committed to providing entrepreneurs with environmentally and socially responsible productivity and growth services, adopting the latest technological advancements in digital fashion design, manufacturing, on-demand prototypes and short-run production services . The fashion shows begin on the 3rd floor of the New Mart on March 15 with a Fashion Techworks showcase showcasing Californian lifestyle apparel and accessories as well as a showcase of emerging designers and technologies.
