The Google Pixel 5A (9/10, WIRED recommends) is an amazing device with an awesome camera and fantastic battery life. Affordability is the icing on the cake.
It is one of the best MagSafe accessories on the market. Built-in magnets allow the tripod to be attached to compatible iPhones quickly and easily, while the flexible feet allow for perfect positioning in almost any filming environment. We haven’t seen it sell for less.
The HyperX Cloud Stinger is a performance headset compatible with desktops and consoles. I use one every time I play. It has good sound quality and comfortable ear cups, and although it goes on sale quite frequently, it’s hard to find a better option at this price point. These frequently discounted headphones have since been replaced by a new generation, but they’re almost as good and a lot more affordable. Jabra makes some of the best workout headphones the money can buy.
This pair of Sony headphones is our favorite for most people (9/10, WIRED recommends). You get some of the best audio for your money, not to mention excellent noise canceling technology, long battery life, and an extremely comfortable fit. They dive regularly at this price, but they are worth it.

Another eco-friendly pick from our guide to the best loungewear, this bright hoodie comes in a wide array of colors and sizes. The loose fit and roomy front pocket are comfortable and cozy, ideal for hibernating on cold winter days.
This sweatshirt is my favorite, ever. It’s fun and colorful, and while it keeps me warm, its cropped cut makes it work just as well in hot weather as it does in cold winter weather. The colors remained vivid despite many washes.
This sweat-resistant undershirt makes a great base layer, and the reversible neckline allows it to match almost any outfit. It adds a layer of warmth but no bulk, and it can be worn multiple times in a row without washing, extending clothes life (and shortening the laundry time required.)
